At Iron River School we value the virtues of respect, empathy, conscience, self-control, kindness, tolerance, fairness, perseverance, and leadership.  This semester at Iron River School we will be focussing on the virtue of responsibility.  During the 2010-11 school year Iron River School will also focus on leadership and perseverance.

The Iron River School offers instruction from Kindergarten to Grade Nine and has a unique identity as a rural school. Iron River School has an approximate enrollment of 100 students, 7 professional staff and 7 support staff. The multi-age class environment at Iron River School promotes positive modeling and peer tutoring for its students in a team learning atmosphere. Big and little share in a community of learners promoted and nurtured by strong rural parental involvement.
